Super Castlevania IV

Here’s a 1992 ad for Super Castlevania IV, originally released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) in 1991. The SNES had launched a year earlier and games were pushing the limits of the cutting edge 16-bit technology. The game is considered a classic with several publications naming it one of the greatest games of all time. Although Super Castlevania IV wouldn’t be made available for the Sega Genesis, Castlevania: Bloodlines, published in 1994, was a Genesis-only alternative.
