Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11

Microsoft Windows for Workgroups 3.11 was released in November 1993 as an iteration to the highly successful Windows 3.1. By this point Microsoft was well underway in its quest for world dominance, with Windows achieving over 70% market share of the personal computer operating system market. Windows was run on MS-DOS, and booting it up took over a minute depending on the speed of your PC.

Windows 3.11 also game with the built-in games Solitaire and Minesweeper, which are on the same level of legendary status as Tetris for the Game Boy. It also ran applications such as Write, Paintbrush, Notepad and Calculator, which are still used in Windows operating systems today.
