The coronation of the King and Queen Consort of the United Kingdom is taking place on Saturday 6th May, 2023 at Westminster Abbey, and in the days prior, decorations abound the streets of London. Every coronation has taken place at Westminster Abbey since 1066, so in keeping with tradition, an invitation has been sent out and the capital city is decorating for the occasion.
